The 2025 Oscars have wrapped for another year, with some big (and emotional) wins!
Kieran Culkin took home the win for Best Supporting Actor while Zoe Saldana won Best Supporting Actress – an expected result after the pair swept their respective categories this awards season.
However, it was the number of wins for comedy/romance film Anora, written and directed by Sean Baker and starring Mikey Madison, that had the world paying attention, with Madison named the youngest winner of the Best Actress award in decades.

The film picked up the win in nearly every category it was nominated, with Baker taking to the stage time and time again to receive his well-deserved flowers.
But one of the biggest shocks of the evening was Best Actor winner Adrien Brody’s move right before walking on to the stage.
As he walked up the steps, the actor realised he still had a piece of gum in his mouth.
So, he spat it into his hand and turned around as his wife ran toward him, tossing the gum to her for safe keeping.

It was certainly a night full of surprises.
