Linda Nolan has shared a heartbreaking health update with her fans.
The Nolans singer, 65, has revealed tumours in her brain have now grown and her ongoing cancer treatment has stopped working.
Nolan’s consultant revealed to her last week that her two biggest brain tumours had grown and smaller cancers surrounding them had also increased in size, per The Mirror.
“I sobbed when my consultant first told me,” Nolan, a columnist for The Mirror, said.

“I know so many people are suffering and going through things, but I thought, just for once, could cancer just leave me alone? My heart sank.”
Nolan was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005. She was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in 2017, with the cancer reportedly spreading to her hip and later in her liver.
Last March the cancer spread to her brain and she has been undergoing regular treatment.
At first the tumours shrunk and stablised in response to the treatment but this latest update indicates that her treatment is no longer working, per The Mirror.
It wasn’t a complete shock to Nolan, however, who admitted she “had feared something was wrong”.

“My balance has been getting worse and my memory- my sisterse have to prompt me when I get lost in the middle of a sentence,” she explained to The Mirror.
“Maureen came with me to the appointment and my Macmillian Cancer support nurse was in the room, and I could just tell. I asked my consultant straight away: ‘Has it spread?’
“When he told me, I immediately asked: ‘What do we do now?'”
Thankfully there is still hope for Nolan. According to The Mirror, the singer is set to undergo another type of chemotherapy this week to hopefully control the cancer’s progression.
Over the years, The Nolans, the band made up of Linda and her family members, have found themselves collectively fighting the disease.

Three of Linda’s sisters have been diagnosed with different cancers throughout the years, with her sister Bernie Nolan dying of breast cancer in 2013 at the age of 52.
Last year Linda’s sister Coleen Nolan became the fourth sister in her family to be diagnosed with cancer after revealing she had skin cancer.
Another sister, Anne, has undergone successful treatment for cancer twice and is currently in remission. However, she has previously spoken out about her fears that it will return.
The Nolans are known as one of the world’s biggest-selling girl groups. They released international hits include I’m in the Mood for Dancing, Gotta Pull Myself Together, and Chemistry.
