'Never be the same': Star's touching tribute to Taylor after milestone moment

Some people say to never meet your heroes, but Suki Waterhouse couldn’t disagree more.

The last time the 32-ear-old artist saw Taylor Swift live was more than eight years ago she was singing along from the crowd at Swift’s Reputation stadium tour.

This time round, Waterhouse was backstage with the star she’d always looked up to.

After taking to the Eras Tour stage on August 17, Waterhouse commemorated the milestone moment on Instagram alongside a sweet image of her and Swift together.

”The last time I was at Wembley I was dancing my ass off at the Reputation tour! Never did I think the next time I’d be here would be opening for my favourite artist with my friends and family in the crowd,” she wrote in the caption.

She went on to thank the Cruel Summer singer for supporting her and believing in her as an artist.

”You are the world’s biggest and brightest star, I love you so much,” she added.

“My nervous system will never be the same after last night. Someone go tell this girl on the last slide she just opened for ERAS BABY!!! ❤️”

When Swift first announced her Eruopean tour dates, Paramore was announced as the opening act for her final five shows in London.

However, just 10 days before the slew of shows kicked off on August 15, Swift took to Instagram to announce she was adding five extra opening acts to perform before Paramore.
